As a student, I am quite disappointed that the library hours has been cut back to 8. What is the reasoning for this? I am sure that other student would like the library to be open at least until 9 o' clock or even later.

Our hours are dependent on the budget given to us each year. Due to cuts in our budget (which is part of the college's), we had no choice but to scale back the number of hours we are open during the week.

We agree with you that our hours are limited (we also have students that want us to be open at 8 a.m. instead of 8:30 as well), and we will continue to make a case we should be open more hours. But for the Spring, it looks like these hours are set, for now.
